On leaving DAL I joined JacobsGibb (Latterly Jacobs) to lead their tunnelling team as a Senior Consultant, over time I became Head of Technical Delivery looking after the technical disciplines in the Water and Utilities sections. I finished my time there as an Executive Director of Operations having been the Technical Assurance lead on the Manchester Metro Extensions, Project Director for the PMC on two sections of the Doha Metro as well as numerous other projects such as advising development banks on Hydro Schemes in Laos and Expressways in China,
